Late Night Update

the weekend was: what a weekend should be. poker friday night and a great conversation with john. work all day saturday. hung with the horton kids after church on sunday and had a long work meeting that night.
tech that caught my attention: rumor sites have my attention right now. with WWDC happening next week they are buzzing.
on my to-do list this week: last night of class tomorrow! praying through some decisions that could really rock my world. i have two books i want to read. should probably really start cleaning upstairs to get ready for my mom to come into town for a couple of weeks.
how am I seeing God work: some pretty huge ways in a friend’s life. stoked to hear how God is working with his life. but i’ll let him tell the story. i have ideas on where God is leading me, but still praying about timing.
how i’m feeling about this week: after guys group today. i’m ready to take of the world. still processing through some thoughts and trying to get them down on paper, but i am ready to influence change in peoples lives.
truth to pass on: everyone has a calling on their lives. i firmly believe that. God desires you to influence people’s lives with Jesus’ love and sacrifice, but it doesn’t stop there. that is all of our calling as Christ-followers. what is God calling you to do specificely and do you know that call, do have some fear that keep you from embracing it. have you rationalized the irrational. because God calls us to things greater than we are, things that in other’s eyes are stupid, things that only He could accomplish through us. how cool is that, that the creator of this universe chooses to use us! what is your calling and what is stopping you from seizing it or not hearing it?
